October 2019 witnessed the visit of the professional #rugby club Cardiff Blues and the U16s Academy South for an intense 5 night 4 Day training Camp at Torrevieja Sports City's superb 4G Nelson Mandela Stadium and fully equipped gymnasium.
SCS Sports Camp Spain were asked to schedule the training venues and times as well as the meal times and conference room sessions.
SCS supplied all the necessary rugby training equipment and medical apparatus on the sideline.
40 Players and Coaches were set and ready for the pre planned schedule which included a 1.5 hour 7am Gym Session - 2hour 10.30am Field Session and 2 hour 14.30 Field Session over 4 days,
As most rugby players and coaches know there is a huge difference between a rugby tour and rugby training camp. Cardiff Blues used this October week to show the academy boys the intense schedule that would be demanded of them if they were in fact already professionals.
The final day was "assessment day" and all the boys passed with flying colours.
Cardiff hope to return October 2020.
