October 2019 saw yet again another #rugbyleague #rugbytour in Spain with SCS Sportscampspain.com.
The Waterhead Warriors U15s Rugby League team visited Torrevieja and Torrevieja Sports City where our own, and Waterhead's own , Barrie McDermott joined the boys and coaches for invaluable on field training sessions in between other events lined up that week.
40+ Players Coaches and Family soaked up the Spanish sunshine and enjoyed... Benidorm + GoKarting + Beach Sports + HYBRID Friendly Match v La Vila Rugby Acedemy Squad and 2 Training Sessions in which Cardiff Blues Academy coaches helped the boys plan for their Hybrid Game v La Vila and the art of the XV game.
A Fiery encounter between the 2 codes ensued, where Waterhead ran out comfortable winners, with everyone enjoying a superb Argentinian Roast put on by the club itself.
